चन्द्रशर्मोवाच । के यूयं विकृताकारा जंतूनां च भयानकाः । पृथ्वीसमुद्भवा जीवा न दृष्टा न श्रुता मया
candraśarmovāca | ke yūyaṃ vikṛtākārā jaṃtūnāṃ ca bhayānakāḥ | pṛthvīsamudbhavā jīvā na dṛṣṭā na śrutā mayā
ចន្ទ្រស្មាន បាននិយាយ៖ «អ្នកទាំងឡាយជានរណា មានរូបរាងប្លែកបំផ្លាញ គួរឲ្យសត្វលោកភ័យខ្លាច? មើលទៅដូចជាជីវិតកើតពីផែនដី ប៉ុន្តែខ្ញុំមិនដែលឃើញ ឬស្តាប់ពីអ្នកទាំងឡាយមុននេះឡើយ»។
