विशाखोवाच । न शीलं न कुलं यस्य नास्ति पापकृतं भयम् । तस्य स्त्रीहनने साध्व्यो ज्ञायते जन्म कर्म च । हीनस्य पुरुषार्थेन तेन संगो निरर्थकः
viśākhovāca | na śīlaṃ na kulaṃ yasya nāsti pāpakṛtaṃ bhayam | tasya strīhanane sādhvyo jñāyate janma karma ca | hīnasya puruṣārthena tena saṃgo nirarthakaḥ
វិសាខា បាននិយាយ៖ អ្នកណាដែលគ្មានសីលធម៌ គ្មានវង្សកិត្តិយស ហើយមិនខ្លាចបាបដែលខ្លួនបានធ្វើ—ដោយការបំផ្លាញជីវិតស្ត្រី (ដោយការបំបែកចិត្ត) នោះ ស្ត្រីសុចរិតទាំងឡាយ អាចដឹងបានពីកំណើត និងកម្មរបស់គេ។ ជាមួយមនុស្សទាបធ្លាក់ ដែលប្រឹងតែប្រយោជន៍ខ្លួន ការស្និទ្ធស្នាលគ្មានអត្ថន័យ។
