ययातिरुवाच । मामुह्रदमिति विभो कथं नामाऽभवत्पुरा । मुद्गलस्याश्रमं ब्रूहि मम सर्वं विधानतः
yayātiruvāca | māmuhradamiti vibho kathaṃ nāmā'bhavatpurā | mudgalasyāśramaṃ brūhi mama sarvaṃ vidhānataḥ
យយាតិបានទូលថា៖ «ឱ ព្រះអម្ចាស់ដ៏អធិរាជ តើហេតុអ្វីបានជាកន្លែងនេះពីបុរាណមាននាមថា ‘មាមុហ្រទ’ ? សូមព្រះអម្ចាស់ពណ៌នាអាស្រមរបស់មហាឥសី មុទ្គល ដល់ខ្ញុំ តាមលំដាប់ និងដោយលម្អិតទាំងស្រុង»។
