पुलस्त्य उवाच । कृष्णतीर्थं ततो गच्छेत्कृष्णस्य दयितं सदा । यत्र सन्निहितो नित्यं स्वयं विष्णुर्महीपते । ययातिरुवाच । कृष्णतीर्थं कथं तत्र जातं ब्राह्मणसत्तम । कस्मिन्काले मुने ब्रूहि सर्वं विस्तरतो मम
pulastya uvāca | kṛṣṇatīrthaṃ tato gacchetkṛṣṇasya dayitaṃ sadā | yatra sannihito nityaṃ svayaṃ viṣṇurmahīpate | yayātiruvāca | kṛṣṇatīrthaṃ kathaṃ tatra jātaṃ brāhmaṇasattama | kasminkāle mune brūhi sarvaṃ vistarato mama
ពុលស្ត្យៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ «បន្ទាប់មក គួរទៅកាន់ ក្រឹṣṇតីរថៈ ដែលជាទីស្រឡាញ់ជានិច្ចរបស់ព្រះក្រឹṣṇa; នៅទីនោះ ព្រះវិṣṇុផ្ទាល់ ស្ថិតស្នាក់ជានិច្ច ឱ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រ»។ យយាតិបានទូលសួរ៖ «ក្រឹṣṇតីរថៈកើតមាននៅទីនោះដូចម្តេច ឱ ព្រាហ្មណសត្តម? សូមព្រះមុនីប្រាប់ខ្ញុំថា កើតនៅកាលណា—ពន្យល់ទាំងអស់ឲ្យលម្អិត»។
