Dharma
Tirtha: Kapilā-tīrtha (inferred)
Type: kund
Listener: Kapilā and the narrative audience/pilgrims
Scene: Dharma personified speaks as a sage-like figure, pointing to a shining reservoir; pilgrims bathe at dawn on caturdaśī, with lamps and offerings on the steps; the air feels still and sanctified.
Right time (kāla) combined with right place (tīrtha) magnifies spiritual fruit, culminating in the highest good.
Kapilā-tīrtha, the auspicious and highly meritorious waters where bathing is praised.
Snāna (bathing) at this tīrtha, with special emphasis on caturdaśī (the 14th lunar day).
