पुलस्त्य उवाच । श्रुत्वा तद्वचनं तेषां ज्ञात्वा तं मृत्युवर्जितम् । पर्वतस्य महाशृंगं दत्त्वा तस्योपरि स्वयम्
pulastya uvāca | śrutvā tadvacanaṃ teṣāṃ jñātvā taṃ mṛtyuvarjitam | parvatasya mahāśṛṃgaṃ dattvā tasyopari svayam
ពុលស្ត្យៈបានមានពាក្យថា៖ ព្រះនាងបានស្តាប់ពាក្យរបស់ពួកគេ ហើយដឹងថាវាអត់ស្លាប់ មិនរងមរណៈទេ។ ដូច្នេះ ព្រះនាងបានប្រទានកំពូលភ្នំដ៏ធំមួយ ហើយព្រះនាងឯងក៏ឡើងអង្គុយលើកំពូលនោះ។
