पुलस्त्य उवाच । एवमुक्त्वा विरूपाक्षस्तत्रैवांतरधीयत । चन्द्रोऽपि बुभुजे सर्वाः पत्नीश्च दक्षसंभवाः
pulastya uvāca | evamuktvā virūpākṣastatraivāṃtaradhīyata | candro'pi bubhuje sarvāḥ patnīśca dakṣasaṃbhavāḥ
ពុលស្ត្យៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «ពេលនិយាយដូច្នេះ វិរូបាក្ស (ព្រះសិវៈ) ក៏លាក់ខ្លួនបាត់ទៅនៅទីនោះឯង។ ហើយព្រះចន្ទក៏បានរីករាយជាមួយភរិយាទាំងអស់ ដែលកើតពីទក្ខ (កូនស្រីទក្ខ)»។
