वसिष्ठो नाम देवर्षिः पितामहसमुद्भवः । स पूर्वं भूतलं प्राप्तस्तपस्तेपे सुदारुणम्
vasiṣṭho nāma devarṣiḥ pitāmahasamudbhavaḥ | sa pūrvaṃ bhūtalaṃ prāptastapastepe sudāruṇam
មានព្រះឥសីទេវៈមួយអង្គ ឈ្មោះ វសិષ્ઠៈ កើតពីព្រះបិតាមហា (ព្រះព្រហ្មា)។ កាលពីបុរាណ ព្រះអង្គបានមកដល់ផែនដី ហើយបានធ្វើតបស្យា (austerities) យ៉ាងតឹងរឹងខ្លាំងណាស់
