श्रीसूत उवाच । वक्ष्यामि राक्षसं क्रूरं तं विप्राः शृणुतादरात् । यथा स राक्षसो जातो मुनीनां शापवैभवात्
śrīsūta uvāca | vakṣyāmi rākṣasaṃ krūraṃ taṃ viprāḥ śṛṇutādarāt | yathā sa rākṣaso jāto munīnāṃ śāpavaibhavāt
ព្រះសូតៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឱ វិប្រទាំងឡាយ ខ្ញុំនឹងពណ៌នារាក្សសដ៏សាហាវនោះ; សូមស្តាប់ដោយការគោរព—ថាវាបានកើតឡើងដូចម្តេច ដោយអานุភាពនៃបណ្តាសារបស់មុនីទាំងឡាយ»។
