स्कंद उवाच । किं कार्यं देव देवानां यत्त्वमाहूयसे त्वरम् । वृषं त्यक्त्वा कृपासिंधो कृपास्ति यदि मे वद
skaṃda uvāca | kiṃ kāryaṃ deva devānāṃ yattvamāhūyase tvaram | vṛṣaṃ tyaktvā kṛpāsiṃdho kṛpāsti yadi me vada
ស្កន្ទៈបានពោលថា៖ ឱ ព្រះដ៏ជាទេវ! កិច្ចការអ្វីរបស់ទេវតាទាំងឡាយ ដែលហៅព្រះអង្គដោយប្រញាប់ប្រញាល់ដូចនេះ? ដល់ថ្នាក់លះទាំងគោព្រឹសភៈ ឱ មហាសមុទ្រនៃមេត្តាករុណា ប្រសិនបើព្រះអង្គមានព្រះគុណលើខ្ញុំ សូមប្រាប់ខ្ញុំផង។
