यम उवाच । एवमस्त्विति तां प्राह चान्यं वरय सत्वरम् । ददामि वरमुत्कृष्टं गानेन तोषितोस्म्यहम्
yama uvāca | evamastviti tāṃ prāha cānyaṃ varaya satvaram | dadāmi varamutkṛṣṭaṃ gānena toṣitosmyaham
យមរាជបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ឲ្យបានដូច្នោះ» ហើយទ្រង់មានព្រះបន្ទូលទៅនាងថា «ចូរជ្រើសពរផ្សេងទៀតឲ្យរហ័ស។ យើងនឹងប្រទានពរដ៏ប្រសើរ ព្រោះយើងបានពេញព្រះហឫទ័យដោយបទចម្រៀងរបស់អ្នក»។
