इन्द्र उवाच । यदि तुष्टोसि देवेश कृपासिंधो महेश्वर । ब्रह्महत्या हि मां देव उद्वेजयति नित्यशः
indra uvāca | yadi tuṣṭosi deveśa kṛpāsiṃdho maheśvara | brahmahatyā hi māṃ deva udvejayati nityaśaḥ
ឥន្ទ្រ បានទូលថា៖ «បើព្រះអង្គពេញព្រះហឫទ័យលើខ្ញុំ ឱ ព្រះអម្ចាស់នៃទេវតា ឱ មហេស្វរ មហាសមុទ្រមេត្តា សូមព្រះអង្គជ្រាបថា បាបនៃការសម្លាប់ព្រាហ្មណ៍ (ព្រហ្មហត្យា) កំពុងរំខានខ្ញុំជានិច្ច»។
