Śāradā (addressing the sage)
Scene: Śāradā greets the sage with folded hands, offers a seat (pīṭha), bows, and asks what service would please him; the sage sits composed, disciple nearby.
Honoring a saintly guest with reverence, seating, and willingness to serve is a direct expression of dharma and a cause of future blessings.
None is mentioned; the focus is on atithi-dharma (guest-reverence).
The etiquette of welcome—greeting, offering a seat, and asking how to serve—forms part of traditional atithi-satkara.
