ब्रह्मोवाच । तालमेघेन वो मध्ये बली तेन समः सुराः । विना माधवदेवेन साध्यो मे नैव दानवः
brahmovāca | tālameghena vo madhye balī tena samaḥ surāḥ | vinā mādhavadevena sādhyo me naiva dānavaḥ
ព្រះព្រហ្មមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ក្នុងចំណោមអ្នកទាំងឡាយ តាលមេឃា មានអំណាចខ្លាំង ឥទ្ធិពលស្មើទេវតា។ បើគ្មានព្រះមាធវ (ព្រះវិษ្ណុ) អសុរ (ដានវ) នោះ ខ្ញុំមិនអាចបង្ក្រាបបានឡើយ»។
