कण्व उवाच । कस्मिन्स्थाने तु विप्रेन्द्र विद्यते मृगलोचना । कस्य सा केन कार्येण सर्वमेतद्वदाशु मे
kaṇva uvāca | kasminsthāne tu viprendra vidyate mṛgalocanā | kasya sā kena kāryeṇa sarvametadvadāśu me
កណ្ណវបាននិយាយថា៖ «ឱ ព្រាហ្មណ៍ដ៏ប្រសើរ នាងភ្នែកដូចក្តាន់នោះស្ថិតនៅទីណា? នាងជារបស់អ្នកណា ហើយមកទីនេះដោយហេតុអ្វី? សូមប្រាប់ខ្ញុំទាំងអស់ឲ្យឆាប់»។
