Brāhmaṇa (devotee/ascetic petitioner)
Tirtha: Revā (Narmadā) Uttara-taṭa sannidhya-sthāna (north-bank abiding place)
Type: ghat
Listener: Deva/Īśvara (the addressed Lord)
Scene: A brāhmaṇa devotee, hands folded, petitions the Lord to remain forever on the Narmadā’s northern bank; the river flows beside a small shrine under sacred trees.
The highest boon is not personal gain but securing enduring divine presence for the welfare of devotees at a sacred place.
The northern bank of the Narmadā (Revā) is explicitly requested as the locus of the Lord’s perpetual presence.
No direct rite is prescribed here; it establishes the sacred geography—God’s constant proximity at the Narmadā’s northern bank.
