देवदेव उवाच । एकश्चायं महाबाहुर्वासुकिर्भुजगोत्तमः । मम पार्श्वे वसेन्नित्यं सर्वेषां भयरक्षकः
devadeva uvāca | ekaścāyaṃ mahābāhurvāsukirbhujagottamaḥ | mama pārśve vasennityaṃ sarveṣāṃ bhayarakṣakaḥ
ព្រះទេវៈលើទេវៈមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ “ឲ្យវាសុកី អ្នកមានព្រះពាហុដ៏ខ្លាំងក្លា ជានាគល្អបំផុត ស្នាក់នៅជិតខ្ញុំជានិច្ច ដើម្បីជាអ្នកការពារពីភ័យសម្រាប់សត្វទាំងអស់।”
