Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: liberating
It teaches that Śiva is nirapekṣa (needs nothing) and pūrṇa (complete); creation and action are not compelled by lack, but liberation happens through His anugraha—grace that cuts the bonds (pāśa) of the soul (paśu).
Linga and saguna worship are approached as channels for receiving Śiva’s grace: the devotee offers bhakti and discipline, but the decisive factor for inner awakening and release is Śiva’s anugraha, not any “need” in Śiva.
Cultivate grace-receptivity through steady japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and devotion to the Linga; perform worship as surrender (śaraṇāgati), seeking anugraha rather than treating ritual as a mechanical transaction.
