Narada
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Significance: Affirms Śiva as paratattva (Supreme Reality) and frames true blessedness as Śiva-bhakti and tattva-prakāśa (revealing the highest principle).
Type: stotra
Role: teaching
The verse exalts the Shiva-bhakta as one who “reveals the Supreme Reality” (paratattva), implying that devotion to Shiva is not merely emotional worship but a direct means to recognize the highest truth—Shiva as the supreme principle and liberator.
By praising a devotee who points to paratattva, the verse supports the Shiva Purana’s pattern: Saguna worship (such as Linga-upasana) disciplines the mind and heart, culminating in insight into Shiva’s supreme nature beyond limitation.
The practical takeaway is to cultivate Shiva-bhakti through Shiva-nama japa (especially the Panchakshara, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and attentive listening to Shiva-tattva teachings from realized devotees who can ‘show’ the Supreme.
