tad vānarabalaṃ dṛṣṭvā rāvaṇiḥ krodha-mūrchitaḥ | kṛtvā vikośaṃ nistriṃśaṃ mūrdhni sītām akarṣayat ||
ពេលឃើញកងវានរានោះ រាវណិដែលស្រវឹងដោយកំហឹងដូចជាសន្លប់ បានដកដាវចេញ ហើយចាប់ទាញសីតាតាមសក់លើក្បាល។
Indrajith saw the Vanara army coming towards him, deluded with anger, unsheathed the sword and touched Sita's forehead.
Adharma is marked by violence against the defenseless: rage turns into sacrilege when a warrior threatens a captive woman to break an enemy’s resolve.
As the vānaras surge forward, Indrajit responds by escalating the deception into a direct threat against Sītā.
By contrast (negative emphasis), the verse highlights the absence of kṣānti (restraint) and the collapse of warrior-ethics in Indrajit’s conduct.
