Mighty Vajradamshtra who was energetic, picking up courage seeing the portents that came up, sallied forth eager for war.
Righteous confidence supports steadfast action; yet Dharma also cautions against arrogance—victory should be pursued with discipline and purpose.
The Vānara forces see the Rākṣasas emerging and respond with loud war-cries that echo in every direction.
Unity and morale (saṅgha-bala) are emphasized—collective courage in defense of a just cause.
