सीताव्यथा
वर्णनम् / Sītā’s Distress and Rāvaṇa’s Attempt at Coercive Allurement
समीक्षमाणां रुदतीमनिन्दितां सुपक्ष्मताम्रायतशुक्ललोचनाम्।अनुव्रतां राममतीव मैथिलीं प्रलोभयामास वधाय रावणः।।।।
samīkṣamāṇāṃ rudatīm aninditāṃ supakṣmatāmrāyataśuklalocanām |
anuvratāṃ rāmam atīva maithilīṃ pralobhayāmāsa vadhāya rāvaṇaḥ ||
នៅពេលម៉ៃថិលីដ៏បរិសុទ្ធមើលទៅជុំវិញទាំងយំ—ភ្នែកធំភ្លឺស ស្រស់ស្អាត មានរោមភ្នែកល្អ និងក្រហមបន្តិចត្រង់ជ្រុង—រាវណព្យាយាមលួងលោមនាង; ប៉ុន្តែនាងនៅតែស្មោះស្រឡាញ់ព្រះរាមយ៉ាងខ្លាំង ដូច្នេះគាត់បានបម្លែងទៅជាការគំរាមសម្លាប់។
