अशोकवनिकायां सीतादर्शनम्
Sita Seen in the Ashoka Grove
अबलां मृगशाबाक्षीं वीक्षमाणां ततस्ततः।।।।बाष्पाम्बुपरिपूर्णेन कृष्णवक्राक्षिपक्ष्मणा।वदनेनाप्रसन्नेन निःश्वसन्तीं पुनः पुनः।।।।
abalāṃ mṛgaśābākṣīṃ vīkṣamāṇāṃ tatas tataḥ | bāṣpāmbuparipūrṇena kṛṣṇavakrākṣipakṣmaṇā | vadanenāprasannena niḥśvasantīṃ punaḥ punaḥ ||
នាងអស់កម្លាំង មានភ្នែកដូចកូនក្តាន់ មើលទៅមកគ្រប់ទិស; ភ្នែកពេញដោយទឹកភ្នែកក្រោមរោមភ្នែកខ្មៅកោង មុខមិនស្រស់ស្រាយ ហើយដកដង្ហើមធ្ងន់ៗម្តងហើយម្តងទៀត។
The fawn-eyed lady was looking here and there with her dark, curved eyelashes. Her unhappy face was streaming with tears.
Dharma includes compassion and protection of the afflicted; seeing innocent suffering becomes a call to righteous intervention.
Hanumān observes Sītā’s fear and vigilance—she scans her surroundings while weeping and sighing in captivity.
Sītā’s alert endurance—despite distress, she remains watchful and perseveres.
