The Disfigurement of Śūrpaṇakhā
ततस्तु सा राक्षससङ्घसंवृतं खरं जनस्थानगतं विरूपिता।उपेत्य तं भ्रातरमुग्रदर्शनं पपात भूमौ गगनाद्यथाऽशनिः।।।।
tatas tu sā rākṣasasaṅghasaṃvṛtaṃ kharaṃ janasthānagataṃ virūpitā |
upetya taṃ bhrātaram ugradarśanaṃ papāta bhūmau gaganād yathāśaniḥ ||
បន្ទាប់មក នាងរាក្សសីដែលត្រូវបំផ្លាញរូបសោភា បានទៅជិតខារៈ ដែលស្នាក់នៅជនស្ថាន ហើយត្រូវហ៊ុំព័ទ្ធដោយក្រុមរាក្សសជាច្រើន; នាងបានដួលចុះលើដី ដូចផ្គរលាន់ធ្លាក់ពីមេឃ។
