FAQs

Janārdana is a celebrated name of Viṣṇu, the protective Lord, here praised as the deity worthy of meditation and worship.

It describes Viṣṇu as the bearer of the conch (śaṅkha), discus (cakra), and mace (gadā)—iconic emblems of divine sovereignty, protection, and dharma.

It links inward devotion (dhyāna/meditation) with outward devotion (ārādhana/worship), presenting remembrance of Viṣṇu as a complete act of worship.
