Narrator (context indicates Sunīthā’s internal conclusion after hearing Rambhā’s प्रिय’s words)

Concept: Sincere reflection (vicāra) ripens hearing (śravaṇa) into firm conviction about truth (tattvārtha).

Application: After receiving advice, pause before acting; test it against conscience, dharma, and long-term consequences; let ‘truth recognized’ become a commitment rather than a fleeting impression.

Primary Rasa: shanta

Secondary Rasa: adbhuta

FAQs

It highlights discernment: after hearing an auspicious, persuasive statement, Sunīthā reflects and affirms its essential truth.

It means “bestowing śiva”—i.e., auspiciousness, welfare, or spiritual good—indicating the words are beneficial and elevating.

Even when words sound pleasing or authoritative, one should contemplate their meaning carefully and accept them only upon recognizing their truth.
