It affirms Śrī-Lakṣmī’s eternal, inseparable association with Lord Viṣṇu—symbolizing that divine prosperity, auspiciousness, and grace abide where Viṣṇu is worshiped.
By portraying Lakṣmī as firmly established on Viṣṇu’s chest, the verse teaches steady, exclusive devotion to Viṣṇu—where the devotee seeks the Lord together with Śrī (His grace), not as a divided or competing loyalty.
Vyākaraṇa (grammar/compound sense) is implicit in terms like “sapatnīrahitā” (a compound indicating ‘free from co-wife/rival’), helping readers interpret devotional and theological claims precisely.
