Narada (teaching, within a dialogue framed around Sanatkumara tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It emphasizes śaraṇāgati—taking refuge at the divine feet—as the core spiritual stance, and presents a specific revealed mantra as a direct means to cultivate that surrender.
Bhakti here is expressed as verbal and inner surrender: one recites a refuge-formula (“…śaraṇaṃ… prapadye”), aligning speech, intention, and dependence on divine grace—central to Narada’s bhakti-oriented instruction.
Mantra-prayoga (practical application) is highlighted: the verse specifies a recitation sequence and identifies the mantra’s metrical/phonetic count (ṣoḍaśārṇa, sixteen syllables), reflecting attention to correct mantra structure and utterance (śikṣā-oriented precision).
