पुराणेऽपि जगन्नाथ न श्रुतं पटमार्जनम् । सोऽहं न जांना मि कदाचिदाश दृष्ट्वा क्षिरीशं हरिसेवने स्थितम् । प्रवादमानं पटहं सुघोरं प्रलोपमानं ममविश्ममार्गम् ॥ १६ ॥

purāṇe'pi jagannātha na śrutaṃ paṭamārjanam | so'haṃ na jāṃnā mi kadācidāśa dṛṣṭvā kṣirīśaṃ harisevane sthitam | pravādamānaṃ paṭahaṃ sughoraṃ pralopamānaṃ mamaviśmamārgam || 16 ||

ឱ ព្រះជគន្នាថា សូម្បីតែក្នុងបុរាណកថា ខ្ញុំក៏មិនដែលឮអំពី «ការសម្អាតក្រណាត់» នេះឡើយ។ ខ្ញុំមិនដែលគិតស្រមៃដែរ រហូតដល់បានឃើញ ក្សិរីសា ឈរនៅក្នុងសេវាកម្មព្រះហរិ បុកស្គរដ៏គួរឱ្យខ្លាច ដូចជាកំពុងបោសសម្អាតផ្លូវលំបាករបស់ខ្ញុំ។
