Suta (narrating the glory of Kāśī-pradakṣiṇā within the Purāṇic discourse)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It declares that performing Kāśī-pradakṣiṇā is supremely purifying—so potent that it is poetically equated with making a sacred circuit of the whole world, including the seven dvīpas, oceans, and mountains.
By exalting a tirtha-practice (pradakṣiṇā) as world-purifying, it supports bhakti expressed through embodied acts of reverence—walking, remembering, and honoring a sacred place associated with divine presence.
It primarily reflects ritual praxis (kalpa-oriented tirtha-acara): the disciplined act of pradakṣiṇā as a meritorious observance, rather than a technical lesson in vyākaraṇa or jyotiṣa.
