Sanatkumara (in dialogue with Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: karuna
Secondary Rasa: bhayanaka
It warns that when dharma is abandoned, the cosmic and social order deteriorates—manifesting as widespread adharma, premature death, and the departure of Śrī (prosperity/auspiciousness) from the world.
Indirectly, it implies that restoring dharma requires turning back to the Lord’s ordinances; in Narada Purana’s framework, sustained Vishnu-bhakti supports righteous conduct and preserves auspiciousness in society.
The verse is primarily ethical and prophetic rather than technical; it aligns with Dharma-śāstra reasoning (right conduct sustaining order) more than a specific Vedanga like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa.
