teṣāṃ tu viṣṇubhavanaṃ paramānaṃdadāyakam | evaṃ putravacaḥ śrutvā saṃtuṣṭo gālavo muniḥ || 96 ||
Narrator (Purāṇic narrator describing Gālava’s response after hearing his son)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It identifies Viṣṇu’s abode as the highest goal—supreme bliss (paramānanda)—and shows that correct spiritual understanding brings inner satisfaction, as seen in Gālava’s contentment.
By portraying Viṣṇu’s realm as the source of the highest joy, it implicitly elevates Viṣṇu-bhakti as a liberation-oriented path where devotion culminates in attaining the Lord’s abode.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is śravaṇa (attentive listening to true instruction), a key discipline that supports dharma and bhakti practice.
