Sanaka
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
The verse sanctifies repeated inquiry into Viṣṇu’s sacred deeds, presenting earnest questioning and attentive listening as marks of genuine devotion to Puruṣottama.
Bhakti is shown as a living practice: the devotee repeatedly seeks Hari-kathā (Viṣṇu’s caritra), and the realized teacher responds by narrating it—highlighting śravaṇa (hearing) and sat-saṅga (holy dialogue).
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa) is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is the discipline of śravaṇa—systematically hearing authoritative Purāṇic narration as a devotional method.
