Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It frames Gaṅgā’s arrival as a dharmic event worth careful transmission—linking sacred geography (Himavat) with the king’s righteous effort and the sanctifying power of the river.
Indirectly, it sets a devotional tone by treating Gaṅgā as sacred and worthy of inquiry; reverent hearing (śravaṇa) about holy acts and tirthas supports bhakti-oriented remembrance.
No specific Vedāṅga is taught in this line; it functions as a narrative prompt (prasna) that prepares for later dharmic and ritual details connected with Gaṅgā and pilgrimage.
