Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhayanaka
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It frames celestial and omen-based disturbances as dharmic warnings: when inauspicious signs arise, rulers and householders should respond with restraint, charity, and corrective rites rather than negligence.
Indirectly: by identifying fear-inducing portents, it encourages taking refuge in dharma and worship (especially protective prayers and offerings) instead of panic—channeling anxiety into disciplined devotion.
Jyotiṣa (Vedāṅga astrology): it notes outcomes tied to nakṣatra placement and vakra (retrograde) motion, used for forecasting public harms like rainfall disruption and agricultural loss.
