Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada, in a Vedanga/astrological-technical passage)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It shows that Moksha-Dharma teaching in the Narada Purana can include disciplined, shastric knowledge—here, a technical ordering of astrological house-types—emphasizing that right understanding (jnana) supports right living (dharma).
This particular verse is not directly devotional; it functions as a Jyotisha-style classification. Indirectly, it supports bhakti by encouraging orderly study of shastra as an aid to dharmic conduct and clarity of mind.
Vedanga Jyotisha: the grouping of houses into kendra (angles), paṇaphara (succedents), and āpoklima (cadents), along with traditional descriptive attributes (here, color/hue associations).
