Narada (as a transmitted stuti/prayer within the Narada Purana’s anukramaṇikā-style section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: karuna
It functions as a protective stuti (rakṣā-prārthanā), presenting Reṇukā as the sole refuge and source of śivam—auspicious well-being—invoked through devotion and surrender.
Bhakti is expressed through direct address, praise of divine attributes (jagannātha, avyayā), and a simple plea for protection—showing that heartfelt remembrance and surrender are themselves efficacious.
Primarily Vedic-style mantra-prayoga (application): the verse models stuti with epithets and a clear phala (result)—rakṣā and śivam—useful for ritual recitation, though it is not a technical Vedāṅga lesson like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa.
