Narada (within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue framework)
Vrata: Trilocana-jayantī / Rathā-saptamī
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It functions as a phala-śruti: it praises specific sacred observances (Trilocana-jayantī and Rathā-saptamī) by stating their spiritual fruits—sin-removal and the attainment of exalted worldly sovereignty—thereby encouraging disciplined dharmic practice.
By highlighting holy days and vowed observances as spiritually potent, it supports bhakti in practice: devotion expressed through vrata, remembrance, and ritual discipline that purifies (sarva-pāpa-hara) and aligns the devotee with divine order.
It emphasizes tithi-based religious timing (calendar discipline), aligning with Jyotiṣa-style practical knowledge used to determine Saptamī observances and their proper performance within Narada Purana ritual guidance.
