Narada
Vrata: Mitra-vrata (contextual continuation)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It grounds Sun-worship (Sūrya-upāsanā) in sacred genealogy—Mitra (the Sun) as the divine birth of Aditi and Kaśyapa—thereby making the rite spiritually authoritative and dharmic when done by the prescribed method.
It presents bhakti as disciplined reverence: devotion is not only feeling but also proper pūjā done “yathokta-vidhi,” honoring the deity’s revealed identity (Mitra/Divākara) and worshiping with scriptural fidelity.
Kalpa (ritual procedure) is implied through “yathokta-vidhi,” pointing to correct performance rules for pūjā; the address to a dvija also signals orthodox, text-governed ritual practice.
