kārtike śuklapaṃcamyāṃ jayāvratamanuttamam | kartavyaṃ pāpanāśāya śraddhayā dvijasattama || 53 ||

នៅថ្ងៃព្រះចន្ទសភ្លឺទី៥ (សុក្លបញ្ចមី) នៃខែការត្តិកា គួរធ្វើវ្រតដ៏អស្ចារ្យឈ្មោះ «ជយាវ្រត» ដោយសទ្ធា ឱ ព្រះទ្វិជសត្តម ដើម្បីបំផ្លាញបាប។
