Adhyaya 92 — Devi’s Assurance of Protection and the Fruits of Reciting the Devi Mahatmyam
बालग्रहाभिभूतानां बालानां शान्तिकारकम् ।
संघातभेदे च नृणां मैत्रीकरणमुत्तमम् ॥
bālagrahābhibhūtānāṃ bālānāṃ śāntikārakam / saṃghātabhede ca nṛṇāṃ maitrīkaraṇamuttamam
វាជាអ្វីដែលបន្ធូរបាបសម្រាប់កុមារដែលរងទុក្ខដោយបាល-គ្រាហៈ (bāla-grahas)។ ហើយពេលក្រុមមនុស្សបែកបាក់ដោយជម្លោះ វាជាវិធីដ៏ល្អបំផុតសម្រាប់បង្កើតមិត្តភាពឡើងវិញ។

Devotion is presented as socially constructive: it protects the vulnerable (children) and heals communal fractures (saṃghāta-bheda) by restoring trust and goodwill.

‘Bāla-graha’ can also be read as early-life vulnerabilities and fear-patterns; the Māhātmya’s śravaṇa acts as a stabilizing field that supports psychological and relational integration.
