Adhyaya 83 — The Slaying of Mahishasura’s Armies and the Final Death of Mahishasura
देव्युवाच गरज गरज क्षणं मूढ मधु यावत्पिबाम्यहम् ।
मया त्वयि हतेऽत्रैव गर्जिष्यन्त्याशु देवताः ॥
devyuvāca garja garja kṣaṇaṃ mūḍha madhu yāvat pibāmy aham / mayā tvayi hate 'traiva garjiṣyanty āśu devatāḥ
ព្រះនាងមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ស្រែកទៅ ស្រែកទៅ សិនមួយភ្លែត ឱមនុស្សល្ងង់—រហូតដល់ខ្ញុំផឹកទឹកឃ្មុំនេះ។ ពេលអ្នកត្រូវខ្ញុំសម្លាប់ នៅទីនេះឯង ព្រះទេវតានឹងស្រែកឆាប់ៗដោយជ័យជម្នះ»។
