मार्कण्डेय उवाच इष्टिं सारस्वतीं चक्रे तदर्थं स द्विजोत्तमः ।
सारस्वतानि सूक्तानि जजाप च समाहितः ॥
mārkaṇḍeya uvāca iṣṭiṃ sārasvatīṃ cakre tadarthaṃ sa dvijottamaḥ | sārasvatāni sūktāni jajāpa ca samāhitaḥ ||
មារកណ្ឌេយៈបាននិយាយថា៖ ដើម្បីគោលបំណងនោះ ព្រាហ្មណ៍ដ៏ប្រសើរបំផុតបានធ្វើពិធី សារ៉ស្វតី-អិឥស្ដិ ហើយដោយចិត្តផ្តោត គាត់បានសូត្រស្តូត្រ សារ៉ស្វតី។
