Adhyaya 64 — Kalavati (Vibhavari) Offers Herself and the Padmini Vidya to Svarocisha
ity āha māṃ dakṣasutā satī satyaparāyaṇā / svarocis tvaṃ dhruvaṃ devī nānyathā sā vadiṣyati
Truthfulness is treated as a mark of spiritual authority: Satī’s ‘would not speak otherwise’ establishes that reliable speech (satya) grounds correct recognition and right action.
Manvantara: the verse explicitly names Svārociṣ, tying the episode to a defined cosmic administration/time-cycle.
Recognition of divine identity functions like ‘naming the power’: to name (Svārociṣ) is to stabilize the manifestation within a cosmic order, making the vidyā’s operation legitimate and effective.
