जुहुयाद्व्यञ्जनक्षारवर्ज्यमन्नं यथाविधि । अग्नये कव्यवाहाय स्वाहेति प्रथमाहुतिः ॥

juhuyād vyañjanakṣāravarjyam annaṃ yathāvidhi / agnaye kavyavāhāya svāheti prathamāhutiḥ

Translation

គាត់គួរថ្វាយចូលក្នុងភ្លើងតាមក្បួន នូវអាហារដែលគ្មានគ្រឿងទេស និងគ្មានសារធាតុអាល់កាលី។ ការថ្វាយដំបូងគឺ៖ «ស្វាហា» (svāhā) ដល់អគ្គិ (Agni) អ្នកដឹកនាំការថ្វាយទៅកាន់បុព្វបុរស គាវ្យវាហន (Kavyavāhana)។
