यदुपात्तं यशः पित्रा धनं वीर्यमथापि वा ।

तन्न हापयते यस्तु स नरो मध्यमः स्मृतः ॥

yadupāttaṃ yaśaḥ pitrā dhanaṃ vīryamathāpi vā / tanna hāpayate yastu sa naro madhyamaḥ smṛtaḥ

អ្នកណាមិនធ្វើឲ្យអ្វីដែលបានទទួលពីឪពុកថយចុះ—មិនថាកេរ្តិ៍ឈ្មោះ ទ្រព្យសម្បត្តិ ឬសេចក្តីក្លាហានក៏ដោយ—គេត្រូវបានចាត់ទុកថាជាមនុស្សមធ្យម។
