बलवत् प्रतिविद्धस्य नस्त: शोणितमावहत् | तदप्राप्तं महीं पार्थ: पाणिश्यां प्रत्यगृह्नत
balavat pratividdhasya nastaḥ śoṇitam āvahat | tad aprāptaṃ mahīṃ pārthaḥ pāṇibhyāṃ pratyagṛhṇat |
វៃសម្បាយនៈបាននិយាយថា៖ ដោយត្រូវបុកយ៉ាងខ្លាំង ឈាមបានហូរចេញពីច្រមុះរបស់ព្រះអង្គ។ តែយុធិષ્ઠិរ៉ៈអ្នកមានធម៌ បានទទួលឈាមនោះក្នុងដៃទាំងពីរ មុនពេលវាធ្លាក់លើដី។
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even when injured or humiliated, a dhārmika person maintains restraint and propriety; Yudhiṣṭhira’s act of preventing blood from falling to the ground reflects disciplined conduct and reverence for order and cleanliness amid adversity.
After being struck forcefully, blood flows from Yudhiṣṭhira’s nose; before it can drip onto the earth, he catches it in his hands, showing composure and ethical mindfulness in a tense situation.
