Daṇḍanīti and the King as the Cause of Yuga-Order (दण्डनीतिः राजधर्मश्च युगकारणत्वम्)
गुणवन्तो महोत्साहा धर्मज्ञा: साधवश्च ये । संदधीत नृपस्तैश्न राष्ट्र धर्मेण पालयन्
guṇavanto mahotsāhā dharmajñāḥ sādhavaś ca ye | sandadhīta nṛpas tais tu rāṣṭraṃ dharmeṇa pālayan ||
ភីෂ្មៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រដែលការពាររាជ្យដោយធម៌ គួរប្រមូលមនុស្សមានគុណធម៌ មានកម្លាំងចិត្ត និងសេចក្តីខិតខំធំ យល់ដឹងធម៌ និងមានចរិតល្អឲ្យនៅជិតខាង។ ដោយមានសហការីដូច្នេះ គួរបង្កើតសម្ព័ន្ធមិត្តជាមួយព្រះមហាក្សត្រដែលមានអំណាច។
