Haṃsa–Sādhya Saṃvāda: Satya, Dama, Kṣamā and the Discipline of Speech
स्नेहजानिह ते पाशान् वक्ष्यामि शृणु तान् मम । सकर्णकेन शिरसा शक्या: श्रोतुं विजानता
snehajān iha te pāśān vakṣyāmi śṛṇu tān mama | sa-karṇakena śirasā śakyāḥ śrotuṁ vijānatā ||
ភីष្មៈ បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ ខ្ញុំនឹងពន្យល់អំពីចំណងដែលកើតពីស្នេហា; ចូរស្តាប់ពីខ្ញុំ។ មានតែអ្នកមានការយល់ដឹង—ចិត្តប្រុងប្រយ័ត្ន និងត្រចៀកស្តាប់ដោយពេញលេញ—ទើបអាចស្តាប់ និងយល់ដំបូន្មានបែបនេះបានត្រឹមត្រូវ។
