Janamejaya’s Appeal for Pacification and Śaunaka’s Counsel on Humility (जनमेजय-शौनक संवादः)
वह लुहारके घर जाकर आग ले आया और सूखे पत्तोंपर रखकर उसने वहाँ अग्नि प्रज्वलित कर दी ।।
sa sandīptaṁ mahat kṛtvā tam āha śaraṇāgatam | pratāpaya suviśrabdhaḥ svagātrāṇy akuto-bhayaḥ ||
គាត់បានទៅផ្ទះជាងដែកយកភ្លើងមក ហើយដាក់លើស្លឹកស្ងួត បង្កើតអគ្គិឲ្យឆេះឡើងនៅទីនោះ។ ពេលធ្វើឲ្យភ្លើងឆេះរលោងខ្លាំងហើយ ព្រាបបាននិយាយទៅកាន់ភ្ញៀវដែលមកសុំជ្រកកោនថា៖ «បងប្អូន! ឥឡូវនេះអ្នកមិនមានអ្វីត្រូវភ័យទៀតទេ។ ចូរអ្នកស្ងប់ចិត្ត ហើយកំដៅសាច់ដុំទាំងអស់របស់អ្នកនៅក្បែរភ្លើងនេះ ដោយគ្មានការភ័យខ្លាចឡើយ»។
